              ( What do you need?는 무슨일로 오셨어요? 어떻게 도와드릴까요의 직설적인 표현입니다.

                 rude하지도 polite하지도 않은 사무적인 표현입니다.)

Customer : I would like to mail this package to South Korea.

Clerk : Ok. Please place the package on the scale. The package weighs 1 pound 12 ounces.

            What are you shipping?

            Is there anything perishable, liquid, hazardous, or breakable inside the box?

            (perishable : 부패할만한, liquid : 액체의, hazardous : 위험한, breakable(fragile) :깨지기 쉬운)

Customer : I am shipping a book and a pair of sunglasses.

Clerk : Okay. I will stamp the word "fragile" on your package to let the shippers know.

Customer : Ok. Thanks.

Clerk : Wait a moment while I process the order.

           Did you want to ship Priority Mail, Express, or Next-Day Delievery?

             ( Priority Mail : priority는 '우선적인, 우선순위가 높은' 이라는 뜻이지만 그냥 일반 우편을 말합니다.

            Express는 빠른우편,  Next-Day Delievery는 익일특급우편 입니다.)

Customer : I want to ship Priority Mail.

Clerk : Great. The cost will be $48.60.

Customer : Here it is.

Clerk : Do you have the customs paperwork filled out and ready to go?

Customer : Do I have to have paperwork?

Clerk : Yes. Take this and fill out your name and address, the recipient's name and address,

           the contents of the package, and the estimated value of the package.

             (estimated value of the package : 물품가액)

Customer : Okay.

Clerk : Just let me check the information... Looks good.

           Ok. Here is your receipt and tracking number. You can enter this number

           on our website to track the status of your package.

             (tracking number : 운송장번호)

Customer : OK. Thank you.

Clerk : You're welcome. Take care.

Customer : Goodbye.
