Customer : I want to know if I may apply for a library card. I am a student visiting the US from another country.

Librarian : You must return the books in 2 weeks usually, but some that are more popular may need to be returned in only 1 week.

Customer : Oh, I see. What if I can't return on time? Do I have to pay a fine?
