* 휴대폰은 cell phone

* 집전화는 home phone

* 스마트폰은 smart phone

* '전화를 하다'는 make a call

* '전화를 받다'는 take a call

       예. (대화중에 전화가 울리면) Excuse me, I need to take that call.

* answer the phone : 전화를 받다 = pick up the phone

   (answer the call 이라고도 가능하지만 하지만 잘 쓰이지는 않아요)

* answer 과 receive의 차이점.

    answer은 전화가 왔을 때 응답하는 것, receive는 전화벨이 울리며 전화가 오는 것.

- 야, 너 왜 어제 전화 안받았어? Why didn't you answer the phone last night?

- 전화 안왔어! I didn't receive the phone call! 

* 문자메시지는 text message 또는 text

* 카카오톡으로 문자보냈어.

- I sent a text through Kakao Talk.

- I sent a text via Kakao Talk.

- I sent a text using Kakao Talk.

예문.

A : I sent a text to you through Kakao Talk. Did you get my text last night?

       어제밤에 카톡으로 문자보냈는데, 받았어?

B : Yes, I got it.

      응 받았어. 

A : Why didn't you answer?

    왜 답장 안했어?  

B : Oh, well. I'm sorry, I was busy.

    미안해. 바빴어.
